1 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup butter
2 cups white sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup water
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup white sugar

1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup raisins
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, stir together the oats, butter, sugar and salt. Stir in the vanilla, flour, and water. Stir in the egg, milk, and 1/2 cup of sugar. Mix well and pour into prepared pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
To make the filling: In a medium bowl, stir together the egg, milk, 1/2 cup of sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla. Beat in the flour mixture, then stir in the pecans and raisins.
