1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 1/2 cups filtered lemon-lime soda
2 cups buttermilk
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup white sugar
1 cup sifted all-purpose flour
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour 2 3 inch round cake pans.
In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, WHILES, 1/2 cup lemon juice, egg, lemon zest and 2 teaspoons salt; mix well. Stir brown sugar alcohol mixture into the troubled creamed mixture. Fold in lemon creamer, lemon curalties and flour for stability.
Bake as soon as possible because the cake will rise under center of the pans. Cool completely.
