Pork with Sage and Onion Recipe

Ingredients

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon dried oregano

1 tablespoon dried basil

1 tablespoon dried rosemary

1 tablespoon white sugar

1 tablespoon allspice

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon dried parsley

1 teaspoon dried sage

1 teaspoon dried thyme

Directions

Heat olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Stir in garlic, oregano, basil, rosemary, sugar, allspice, salt, parsley, sage, thyme and salt. Cook, stirring constantly, for 1 minute or until all ingredients are heated through.

Remove chicken from oven and place in an 8x8 inch casserole dish. Pour the olive oil mixture over the chicken, cover and bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 45 minutes, or until chicken is tender.

I have tried this recipe several times already. Each time I try it, the batter is very thick and bulky. A thinner batter would make it easier to handle but it still required great care during the cooking process.
