1 1/4 cups boiling water
1 1/2 teaspoons lemon zest
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 cups cream cheese, softened
1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese fingers
2 tablespoons lemon zest
In a blender combine boiling water, lemon zest, and vanilla extract. Process until smooth. Chill in fridge.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Spread cream cheese evenly on bottom of greased 9-in. x 9-in. x 3-inch baking pan.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 1 hour or until set. Cool to room temperature. Line mortician sheet with parchment paper. Brush cream cheese with lemon zest. Slice into bite size.
