Cheese Lumpet Recipe

Ingredients

4 cups Italian sausage

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

2 pounds onion, diced

2 (15 ounce) cans whole green beans, drained

1 (15 ounce) can cottage cheese

2 cups shredded Swiss cheese

1 clove garlic, peeled and minced

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1/2 teaspoon dried basil

salt and pepper to taste

1/2 teaspoon crushed pepper pepper

1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

Directions

Combine the sausage, flour, green beans, cheese, Swiss cheese, onion, garlic and salt in large mixing bowl or in a shallow dish.

Place 1 bolognese sauce or poached Italian sausage over all; brush or brush with melted butter or margarine. Spread over bolognese sauce.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Coat top of a 9 inch springform pan with cooking spray.

Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes, or until bubbly. Turn, spooning sauce over pan frequently until it is covered. Bake for another 10 minutes or until the bread springs back when lightly pressed. Remove pan from oven; cool completely.

Stir the tomato sauce, cottage cheese, Italian sausage, garlic, salt, oregano, basil, salt, pepper and thyme into sauce. Spoon sauce over meat; serve warm.
