3/4 cup butter
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 cup pecans, chopped
2 tablespoons margarine, melted
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, flour, baking powder, and salt until smooth. Beat in the egg, pecans and margarine. Spread evenly around the rim of a 9 inch pie pan.
Bake for 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow crust to cool completely.
