4 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups white sugar
3 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 (19 ounce) can diced peaches
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9 inch square pan. Sift together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
In a large bowl, beat eggs, vanilla extract, sugar and baking powder until frothy. Stir in the flour mixture. Fold in the peaches. Pour batter into prepared pan.
Bake at 425 degrees F (220 degrees C) for 35 to 45 minutes in the preheated oven.
