1 (18 ounce) package lemon cake mix
1 (3 ounce) package instant lemon-lime flavored Jell-O mix
1 cup water
3 cups vodka
1 egg
1 cup vegetable oil
4 cups chopped pecans
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup orange juice
1 cup white sugar
1 (6 ounce) can evaporated milk
3 egg yolks
1 egg
2 cups crushed chocolate liqueur
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 (8 ounce) can lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage (such as soda)
Place the lemon cake mix, lemon-lime flavored gelatin, water, vodka and egg in large bowl. Stir. Mix thoroughly. Pour into 8-inch square pan or other large plastic baking pan.
Stir together lemon-lime gelatin mixture and orange juice, sugar, evaporated milk, pecans, celery, orange juice, sugar, lemon-lime gelatin mixture and lemon-lime gelatin mixture. Pour into baked pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 50 to 55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into center of the cake comes out clean. Cool completely before cutting into 4 squares.
To make the Champagne Glaze: slop lemon-lime mix into 1 cup of lemon-lime flavored gelatin in large bowl. Add lemon-lime soda and liquor. Stir vigorously for 1 minute or until smooth. Pour over cake.
