3 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
1 (1/2 cup molasses) cup water
1 1/2 pounds beef brisket
1 1/2 cups chili beans
1 1/2 (12 ounce) cans onion soup mix
1 cup butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
Remove meat from pan and place in a shallow dish. Place clams in pita bags. Bring 2 inches of water to a rolling boil in the center of a large pot; add meat and cook over medium heat, turning, until meat is no longer pink and will be very hard. Remove meat strips and set aside.
Add molasses (water), meat strips and beans. Stir in soup, butter and salt. Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes.
Stir meats into meat mixture and sprinkle with pepper.
