Estrada Recipe

Ingredients

2 fluid ounces gin

1 scoop inspiration fruit-flavored liqueur (such as Flavor-Way)

1 lemon with lime zest

1 lemon, zested

1 orange, zested

1 pineapple, sliced

1 1/2 cups sliced poblano chile peppers

Directions

In a cocktail mixer full of ice, combine gin, lemon-lime juice, orange-orange juice, lemon popular snack, 1 lemon slice and 1 orange slice. Stir well and strain into mason jars. Seal each jar and refrigerate for 1 hour.

Cut each slice into 1 inch cubes and place into the jars. Pour about 1/2 of fruit filling into each jar. Keep sealed.

Add sliced poblano chiles to each jar with chopped fruit slices. Push down on jars in mason jars until completely filled. Fill jars with Poblano chile Estrada. Refrigerate until serving.

I followed the recipe exactly, [so I feel entitled to actually review the recipe unlike those people that change the recipe and review their version of the recipe] This is a great basic recipe for enchiladas. I used red bell pepper, added 1 tsp. cumin, and 1 chopped fresh rosemary. I edited the recipe to use whole tomatoes, avocados, and mangoes. I knew it would be a little too bland, but I was happy that it was different. I guess I'll keep trying different peppercorns until I find the right one.
