Chocolate Lace Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup margarine

1 cup white sugar

1 cup brown sugar

2 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

4 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 cup the chipped chocolate, chopped

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.

In a large bowl, cream together the margarine, brown sugar and white sugar. Beat in the eggs, one at a time. Mix in the vanilla. Combine the flour, chocolate, baking soda and salt; stir into the creamed mixture until well blended. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto the cookie sheets.

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until light brown. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.

Very good, but I would use dried minced garlic instead of fresh garlic cloves. I used about 1/2 tsp. of garlic powder and 1/2 tsp. of onion powder. I only used a couple of tablespoons of garlic per piece of cake. It was still pretty thin, so maybe next time I'll add another can of mushroom soup. I added a layer of perforation- I cut down the center and threaded the bottom onto the cake. It was still pretty thin, so maybe next time I'll add another can of cream cheese soup. It was still good.
