Apple Pancakes Recipe

Ingredients

1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup white sugar

1 egg

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

2 tablespoons butter, melted

1 3/4 cups milk

1 cup shredded Swiss cheese

1 cup baked apple

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon dried marjoram

6 egg whites

Directions

In a small saucepan, combine vinegar, salt, sugar, egg, oil, nutmeg, cinnamon and flour. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Boil 1 minute. Remove from heat. Stir in milk and cheese, and return to a boil. Boil 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat.

Place flour, salt and marjoram in a medium bowl. Stir until combined. Stir egg whites into the mixture, then fold in. Pour into the prepared pan.

Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into center of the cake comes out clean.
