1 pound bacon
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
1 (8 ounce) can cream-style green beans
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1 (4 ounce) can tomato paste
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 egg
1 1/2 teaspoons paprika
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 slice bacon
1 plum tomato, sliced
Place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain, crumble and set aside.
Whisk together the onions, bell peppers, cream-style green beans, cheese and tomato paste. Cook over medium heat until cheese is melted. Stir in chicken broth, egg, paprika and green pepper. Bring mixture to a rolling boil. Reduce heat to low, and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in bacon and plum tomatoes.
