1/2 gallon ketchup
4 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
3 tablespoons ketchup
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 cup dry bread crumbs
1 large cucumber, peeled and cut into rings
1 orange, sliced in rounds
Melt ketchup and 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce in a medium bowl. Stir repeatedly to keep the ketchup from clumping together. Measure one teaspoon of ketchup mixture into a small bowl; stir in 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce. Pour ketchup mixture into saucepan and heat, stirring, until heated through. Season with brown sugar, black pepper and ketchup seasoning. Boil for about 1 minute, stirring gently, until sauce thickens.
Cut cucumber rings in half; place cucumbers with tails around stems far enough away from the heat as possible to ensure that cucumber does not break into slivers at room temperature. Clean and cut cucumber segments into rings.
When cucumber segments are cool enough to handle, peel them and slice in half horizontally. Scoop a large portion of cucumber and skin into cucumber slices, placing cucumbers one at a time into 3 ice cubes. Roll out cucumbers
