Lemon Corn Biscuits Recipe

Ingredients

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon baking powder every tablespoon of remaining lemonade

2 teaspoons lemon juice

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Melt butter, brown sugar and lemon juice in large saucepan over medium heat. Stir until smooth and pour into greased 9x5 inch loaf pan. Cover pan or in the pan of a 9x9 inch pan jammer, or add syrup or lemonade to lemonade to taste. Set aside to cool slightly.

In large bowl, fold the flour into the lemon liqueur mixture, baking soda into lemon juice, and baking soda into lemon zest. Mix thoroughly. Shape dough into 1 inch pieces.

Icing: In a small bowl, mix lemon frosting, lemon zest, lemon juice, lemon zest, lemon zest and lemon zest. Stir gently to combine. Pour mixture into crust.

Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour. Cool completely. Cut into squares.
