1 gallon old-fashioned and fresh bread crumbs
1 cup butter, softened
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup chopped fresh basil
2 cups sliced mushrooms
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 (1 ounce) package shredded mozzarella cheese
1 (4 ounce) can tomato paste
1 cup chopped green bell pepper
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 (4 ounce) can chopped green chile peppers, drained
1 teaspoon chopped fresh cilantro
In a large mixing bowl, combine bread crumbs, butter, garlic, basil, mushrooms, cream of mushroom soup, cheese, tomato paste, bell pepper, Mozzarella cheese, tomato paste, green bell pepper, mozzarella cheese. Mix well and spread 1/2 lb. on 15-inch bread pans.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
Arrange 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms on bottom of a 9x13-inch pan. Pour 1/2 of the mushroom mixture into a 9x13 inch roasting pan. Place roasting pan on baking sheet. Add the remaining mushroom mixture, 1/2 cup at a time, and top with cheese.
Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove roasting pan from oven and place roasting pan on platter. Top mushroom layer with 1/2 of shredded mozzarella cheese, tomato paste, green bell pepper, mozzarella cheese, tomato paste, green bell pepper, mozzarella cheese, tomato paste, green bell pepper, mozzarella cheese. Place roasting pan on baking sheet and refrigerate overnight.
Remove roasting pan from oven and place roasting pan on broiler pan. Use tongs to flatten roasting pan. Broil for 4 to 6 minutes per side, brushing with cooking spray.
Top mushroom layer with tomato sauce and top with cream cheese. Return roasting pan to oven for another 20 minutes. Tutorial: Position roasting pan on serving plate and spread with mushroom sauce.
Remove roasting pan from oven, place roasting pan on rack, and broil for 3 to 4 minutes per side, brushing with cooking spray. Remove roasting pan from oven, ladle mushroom sauce through a slotted spoon, and spread over roasting pan. Seating roasting pan on top of roasting pan.
Remove bell pepper and cucumber from roasting pan, and serve roasting pan on a serving platter.
