1 (19 ounce) can lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage
3 tablespoons white sugar
2 tablespoons cherry flavoring
2 tablespoons butter
6 egg yolks
3 tablespoons milk
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
2 (10 ounce) packages all-purpose flour
1/2 cup white sugar
1 (3 ounce) can lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage
1 cup chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Coat a 9 inch springform pan with waxed paper. Line the bottom of the pan with parchment paper. Place a strip of waxed paper about 1 inch thick on the parchment, fold sides down, to make a cup holder.
In a medium mixing bowl, beat lemon-lime soda until thick. Mix with lemon-lime soda/water mixture. Beat in butter, egg yolks and milk until well blended. Pour the mixture into the pan.
Bake in the preheated oven for 70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the pie comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack before cutting into squares.
