1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/4 cups water
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup chocolate filling
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup white sugar
1 tablespoon distilled white vinegar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Stir together 1/2 cup flour, 1 cup water, and baking powder. Make a well in the center of the flour, and pour in sugar, chow chow mein noodles, and melted butter. Drop cookie sheets in dough.
On 2 wire rack sets, place prepared cookies 2 inches apart.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the oven, or until the tops of the cookies are slightly browned. Cool for a few minutes before removing from baking sheets.
Make the vanilla cream cheese frosting: stir together 2 tablespoons creamy salted butter, chopped pecans, vanilla, and vinegar. Cool slightly before adding cream cheese frosting.
