Kalet Bottomless Pita Recipe

Ingredients

3 cups whole wheat flour

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a large bowl, mix whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda and chili powder. Mix evenly.

Place one egg and 1/2 cup bread flour mixture in the center of a divided pie plate. Roll out the rim of the prepared pie crust. Place one egg over the top of the flour mixture and top the whole dish with the egg.

Bake in preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes, or until a knife inserted near the center of the pie comes out clean.
