Spiced Cranberry Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter

1 cup white sugar

1 teaspoon ground ginger

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon dried rosemary

1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup cider vinegar

2 teaspoons white vinegar

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon vegetable oil

Directions

In a medium saucepan, melt butter and sugar over low heat. Stir in ginger, oregano, thyme, rosemary, lemon juice and lemon juice. Cook, stirring occasionally, until butter mixture is completely absorbed. Remove pan from heat and whisk in vinegar, white vinegar, salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce.

Stir vinegar mixture into butter mixture and return to a simmer until thickened.

Stir vegetable oil into the butter mixture and return to a simmer for about 15 minutes. Cover and chill for several hours. Serve chilled.

Couldn't be easier. Set in cake batter, which is perfect. My health nuts said it tasted just like their golden retrievers. Yum!

very good, a little bland, i added 2 Tbls. cream cheese a little diced ... and a lil paprika. super easy. huge hit's in 15 minutes!
