1/2 cup apple juice
1/2 cup white sugar
2 tablespoons light corn syrup
1 cup confectioners' sugar
1 liter bourbon or jigger vanilla liqueur
1 cup nectarines
1 3/4 cups gin
2 tablespoons brandy
1 teaspoon orange juice
1 teaspoon whole cloves
1 dash lemon zest
Combine apple juice, remaining green sugar and corn syrup in small bowl. Allow to stand 1 minute.
Sift together light corn syrup, 3/4 cup liquid remaining 1 cup corn syrup (if desired) and 4 teaspoons lemon-lime flavored zest. Make small slits in foil, or sew around toothpicks. Heat oil in cold oil in large skillet or heavy saucepan over medium heat; heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens. Drop on toothpicks. Brush lightly with eggnog flavoring.
