Christmas Pie Recipe

Ingredients

1 (9 inch) pie crust

2 (9 inch) prepared graham crackers

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1/3 cup milk

1 (10 ounce) can evaporated milk

6 (3 ounce) packages instant vanilla pudding mix

Directions

In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, milk and evaporated milk. Gradually stir in vanilla. Set aside.

In a large glass or metal bowl, beat cream cheese, milk and pudding mix until smooth. Pour mixture into pie crust.

Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes. Cool in pan on wire rack for at least 1 hour.

This was very good and very easy. I used a little more liquid so I could feel the texture. I like this recipe as is. I would change a few things, though.. I used orange zest and not as much. I used garlic powder when mixing with flour but used real garlic powder instead. I used dried orange zest with the mixed fruits. Not as robust as I thought but that might be because I used unsalted butter.
