Orange Pecan Pie Recipe

Ingredients

1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust

1 (3 ounce) package orange flavored Jell-O mix

1/4 cup boiling water

1 (12 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup packed light brown sugar

1 cup chopped pecans

Directions

In a slow cooker, mix gelatin ingredients (gelatin is a gelatin product created when you mix water, lemonade and pecans). Pour into pie crust.

Cook on HIGH in LOW for 6 to 8 hours; cook on LOW for 4 to 5 hours. Remove from heat. Serve immediately.

We tried this recipe and it was way, way too sweet for our taste (even with the sugar and butter. We are give the recipe again, but I think we found our sweet spot.) So Iaker's crumbled up some Pecans and I gave it a try. WAY better than the first time.
