1 (38 ounce) can black sesame seeds, drained
1 (3 ounce) tablespoon vegetable oil for frying
1 1/2 cups vegetable oil for deep frying
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
3 tablespoons distilled white vinegar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/8 teaspoon green pepper flakes
2 tablespoons orange juice
In a small saucepan, blend the black sesame seeds and vegetable oil. Heat, stirring occasionally, to a boiling point. Remove from heat and stir in sea salt, vinegar, baking powder, green pepper flakes and orange juice. Remove from heat to cool.
