Sugar
6 apples - peeled, cored, and sliced in rounds
3/4 cup water
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup light brown sugar
3 tablespoons butter
4 cups raisins
1 cup chopped pecans
Place apples on cake pan or tray, and press in juice to cover. Cover pan tightly with foil.
In a saucepan, combine water, flour, brown sugar, butter, and raisins. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer 1 1/2 minutes. Remove from heat, and stir in pecans. Pour mixture in pan. Chill in refrigerator until completely cool.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease cookie sheets. Roll out peach slices, and cut into 1/2 inch cubes. Place onto peach slices. Dust with brown sugar.
Bake for 15 minutes in the preheated oven, or until apples are tender and crisp. Remove from pan, and cool on a wire rack.
