1 teaspoon dried basil
1 large onion, chopped
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon dried sage
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons dried rosemary
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 green onions, sliced
1 red onion, chopped
1 pound Polish sausage, cut into 2 inch slices
1 teaspoon dried sage
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
In a large bowl, mix the basil, onion, garlic powder, sage, salt, pepper and whole parsley. Fold into the meat mixture, shaking off any lumps that form in the mixture. Place on a large baking sheet.
Bake steaks for at least 25 minutes to 1 hour, adding as desired salt and pepper. Massage steaks with kitchen twine to prevent sticks. Season with seasoning mixture and serve steaks with sauce.
