1 pound ground beef
3 slices Swiss cheese
1 egg, beaten
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
12 slices smoked bacon
1 cup diced green chiles
1 cup chopped onion
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1 pinch salt
1 pinch ground black pepper
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried oregano
2 teaspoons dried basil
2 teaspoons dried rosemary
1 teaspoon dried thyme
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, Swiss cheese, egg, oil, and chiles. In a 9x13 inch baking dish combine the onion, flour, salt, pepper, thyme, oregano, basil, rosemary, thyme, and the spices. Mix well.
Arrange the sausage and cooked crescent roll on top of the onions. Place the bacon and green chiles on top of the vegetables. Repeat with the remaining ingredients and the sausage.
Bake in a preheated oven for 45 to 60 minutes until the cheese is browned.
