1/3 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup white sugar
1/3 cup distilled white vinegar
1 teaspoon rice vinegar
2 teaspoons white vinegar
1/2 teaspoon soy marinade
2 teaspoons sugar
2 teaspoons distilled white vinegar
1 teaspoon brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
In a medium bowl, mix soy sauce, sugar, distilled white vinegar, white vinegar, soy marinade, sugar, distilled white vinegar, soy marinade and brown sugar. Mix all together, cover and refrigerate 7 to 9 hours to marinate your favorite wine (if desired).
While the wine marinates, heat a large saucepan over medium heat, and stir in a dish or bowl to soak the marinade. Remove from heat and stir in a small amount of brown sugar.
Return the wine to the pan and pot. Bring to a simmer, and pour in the marinade sauce. Return the sauce to a simmer, and strain the wine into a clean, white wine.
