1 1/2 cups water
1/4 cup frankfurters
16 ounces dry french sausage
1 pint heavy cream
4 tablespoons white sugar
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
4 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
In a medium glass dish or mixing bowl, mix water, frankfurters, French sausage, cream and sugar; place on high heat. Measure 2 cups of this mixture into a small saucepan.
Heat remaining liquid about 10 minutes in the microwave. When liquid is heated, stir in garlic powder and Worcestershire sauce.
Stir thickened meat mixture into sauce. Transfer to a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
Bake uncovered at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 60 to 65 minutes, or until internal meat temperature reaches 145 degrees F (63 degrees C).
