Slow Cooker Chicken Linguine Recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 pounds chicken meat

3 tablespoons margarine, softened

1 large onion, thinly sliced

1 pinch salt

2 tablespoons oil

3 carrots, sliced

1 pound long slow cooked noodles

Directions

Place chicken in a slow cooker along with the margarine, onion, salt and oil; mix well. Cover, and cook on low for 2 to 3 hours. Remove chicken and rinse in warm water. Drain, skin and cut into 1/4 inch slices.

Stir chicken into broth; stir briefly. Add noodles, carrots, chicken and fish; mix well. Cover, and cook on low for three hours.

Some optional steps: 1) while cooking, drain the excess oil. 2) while cooking, skim the foam to remove any batter stuck in the trough. 3) while cooking, fold the wet dough up into a ball and push mixture into the hot oil. 4) while cooking, as if you needed it, squeeze dry any remaining air bubbles. 5) while cooking, remove triad strips (don't burn yourself) and put to bed. This is a good beginning! I used red triad, added my husband's desired sauce and used Red Hots (didn't have sriracha). I really liked this and will make it again!

Synthetic flavor is very slight and mainly gives off a pleasant coffee flavor. It is stable at 350-355F (the freezing point being 3°) during baking so it is ideal to keep in the refrigerator during mid-coffee/coffee flavor development. Monitoring stability helps a ton.
