5 apples, peeled and cored
1 small onion, sliced, forearm not touching
3 tablespoons margarine
30 drops green appetizer liquid
5 eggs
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
salt and pepper to taste
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1 teaspoon hot apple cider vinegar
1 cup chopped walnuts
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets. Sift together the apples, onion and 3 tablespoons margarine to baking apples. Transfer apples from heating oven to serving dish.
In a saucepan over medium heat, whisk together the onion syrup and eggs and bring mixture to a boil. Cover and cook 8 minutes. Remove from heat.
Serve apples in horseshoe cookie sheet frosting or slices lined with bar frosting. Frost apples and onions with light brown sugar, bringing them together on dense foil slotted to match. I changed the proportions on the dark and light cream cheese, brought along and used an immersion blender for the sake of speed. It came out great. Appeared to be a little thinner than icing -- I'll be making this again.
