3/4 cup shortening
3 tablespoons white sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 cups light brown sugar
1 1/4 cups white sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
1/10 teaspoon cocoa powder
2 tablespoons vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Lightly grease or flour two 9 inch muffin cups.
In a medium bowl, mix together shortening, brown sugar, white sugar, egg, cocoa, vanilla extract and egg. Insulate or spoon any remaining batter onto ungreased muffin cups.
Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool slightly and cool completely.
