1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 onion, finely chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 red bell pepper, chopped
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons paprika
2 teaspoons dried oregano
2 teaspoons dried basil
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
2 teaspoons dried sage
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup mayonnaise
In a medium saucepan, heat oil over medium heat. Saute onions, green bell pepper and garlic powder until translucent.
Add salt, paprika, oregano, basil, rosemary, sage and brown sugar. Stir well.
When mixture is thick, pour into the 8x8 inch baking dish. Bake 60 minutes in the preheated oven, stirring occasionally, until golden.
Remove from oven, allow to cool somewhat and stir into the rolls. Remove from rolls and sprinkle with mayonnaise and discard.
