Pie Field Potato Soup Recipe

Ingredients

2 (10 ounce) packages refrigerated Dijon-style prepared pizza dough

1/2 cup butter

2 1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 onion, diced

1 green bell pepper, diced

1/3 cup diced celery

1/2 cup sliced red onion

1 teaspoon minced garlic

salt and pepper to taste

1/8 teaspoon paprika

Directions

Preheat oven on 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

Place top of each pizza dough in a clean, dry bowl. Mix butter and oil with about a quarter of the onion, bell pepper and celery. Add garlic powder, salt and pepper. Mix well, itself enough to dispense with seasoning. Finally, place in a clean bottom bowl. Roll remaining dough into a ball.

Place red onion, green bell pepper and celery filling in the center of each pie plate. Brush sides of pies with butter mixture and sprinkle each with paprika. Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes. Remove pie from oven, cling slightly trimmed side. Serve immediately.
