2 cups butter, softened
2 cups white sugar
2 eggs
4 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups sliced almonds
2 cups all-purpose flour
3 1/4 cups orange juice
3 cups milk
1 teaspoon orange extract
1 teaspoon orange zest
1 teaspoon lemon extract
1 1/2 cups milk
1 teaspoon orange zest
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour one 9-inch springform pan.
Butter 13 cookie sheets with cooking spray. Place butter cookies 1 inch apart onto the prepared cookie sheets. Beat egg whites with 2 parts orange juice and 2 parts lemon extract until foamy. Mix remaining orange juice and lemon zest with 1 part orange extract, stirring well. Press the cookie sheet and marshmallow creme mixture into the prepared pan.
Bake for 35 to 45 minutes in the preheated oven. Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
