2 cups white sugar
1/2 cup cherry juice
1 (3 ounce) package lemon flavored Jell-O mix
1 (3 ounce) package lemon flavored Jell-O mix
2 cups boiling water
1 (7 ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate
1 cup milk
1 cup lemon scalding liquid
8 cups chopped cherries
1 (8 ounce) can sliced cherries with juice
1 pint vanilla ice cream
1 (9 inch) prepared graham cracker crust
In a large bowl, mix sugar, cherry juice, lemon juice and lemon flavored gelatin. Add boiling water, lemon flavored gelatin, orange juice concentrate, milk, lemon scalding liquid and cherries. Mix until all ingredients are thoroughly combined. Meanwhile, process chopped cherries into remaining mixture, stirring until they are evenly distributed. Pour mixture into pie crust. Chill pie in refrigerator.
To Make Frosting: In a large glass or metal bowl, whip whipping cream until stiff. Beat in 1/2 cup sugar gradually. Beat in lemon flavored gelatin and lemon flavored gelatin mixture until all ingredients are thoroughly combined. Fold whipped cream into chocolate mixture until well blended.
Place pie on pie plate. Pour chocolate frosting over pie. Chill at least 2 hours to allow fudge to set. Cut into squares. Store pie in refrigerator. Cut and serve.
