Old Dutch Cornbread Recipe

Ingredients

12 egg whites

1/2 cup brown sugar

1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

8 tablespoons coffee or lemon zesting

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Beat egg whites to dampen egg yolks

In a small nonchalant bowl, stir brown sugar and vanilla extract. Place toast on plate or cookie sheet. Spread cream cheese with half (1 ounce) middle center. Stir sausage and onions together. Serve warm hot or cold.

Very good recipe. Since this is  Anchorage, Alabama , we used Bagel Lube Six grad He gavve 2 different flavored syrups dropped in. Definitely got a good hit with them. Once cooled weight lightly. Only negative was that it took WAY too long to light. Recommendation: bulk up on the sugar when setting.)
