2 heads iceberg lettuce - rinsed, dried, and chopped
4 cloves garlic, chopped
1 teaspoon dried oregano
2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dried basil
3 tablespoons feta-flavored thickening blend
2 teaspoons tomato paste
1 large bay leaf
1/2 cup fine white wine
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
Combine ingredients in a medium bowl. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to medium, and simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
I gave this 5, but only gave it 4 stars because .... it was super bland .... too many bland ingredients ..
I have made this a few times for my kids and it is generally good. I have made it a few times vegan, depending on the blend of ingredients. I have made it with rice (vegan), and once rice and beans (vegan). It tastes pretty good so far, thanks!
This is a fantastic recipe! So versatile, so damn tasty (even without the shrimp), so quick and great flavors! All the boys and girls are going to love it!
So delicious and so easy! I used shrimp instead of shrimp dinner rolls. Everyone loved it. Also, the vegetables really add a nice taste.
