Sloppy Joes II Recipe

Ingredients

1 pound lean ground beef

1 onion, minced

1 teaspoon garlic powder

salt and pepper to taste

1 1/2 cups distilled white vinegar

1/4 cup light brown sugar

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

Directions

Season beef, onion and garlic powder with salt, pepper and vinegar. Place beef in a large skillet and cook over medium heat until evenly brown. Drain well and set aside.

Stir brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce and Worcestershire sauce into tomato juice between 1/2 to 2 tablespoons. Collect about 2 tablespoons of liquid in a small bowl.

Cover and refrigerate about 60 minutes before grilling. Drain excess fat.

Heat oil in large skillet or wok over medium heat. Add brown sugar mixture and brown sugar mixture. Cook and stir about 5 minutes. Transfer mixture to the pan and cook and stir about 5 minutes on each side.

Place skillet lid on and add about 4 tablespoons brown sugar mixture. Cover pan and cook over medium heat until caramelized. Remove lid and quickly pour sauce over beef mixture. Cover and simmer until heated through.
