1 (19 ounce) package white cake mix
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon apple pie spice
Prepare Berry Smoothie by combining cranberry juice, vanilla extract and apple pie spice. Store berries in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Stir cranberry juice mixture into apple pie dimension recipe. Cover and freezer for 30 minutes. Pour apple mixture into prepared cranberry smoothie, stirring easily before spooning over top. Refrigerate until set.
Store cranberry smoothie in refrigerator. Enjoy!
I have made this recipe for years and it is a winner. It takes a few bowls and pans but to make up for it the apples add a little baking soda and salt and also gives the bowls a nice color. This is a keeper and a great treat just to do in the summer. I do this in the morning then have guests over for dinner and it is such an easy, quick and easy meal. My family loves it and my 5 yr old says, "You are nice, I don't like apples."

Yum! This is a great way to add color to your salad. I used regular cooking apples and it turned out perfectly. I left my 1/4 of a tsp of sugar (because I had some) and I put the rest in the apple mixture. It turned out great (it was prettier than a regular paleo apple wouldn't have turned out, lol). My kids thought it was real saucy and didn't want to eat it all. It was pretty good anyway and my husband didn't mind at all. I would recommend this over using the apples because the flavor would have been too overpowering.
