Blueberry Orange Recipe

Ingredients

2 tablespoons lemon juice

1 (6 ounce) can blueberry preserves

2 (3 ounce) jiggers grenadine syrup

1 pint vanilla ice cream

1 orange, zested and juiced

1 pear, sliced into rounds

Directions

Combine lemon juice, blueberry preserves, grenadine, ice cream and orange juice. Shake vigorously, then cool slightly. Pour into glasses and serve.

Went over very well with all family members. It's a lot like bread pudding. The only change I made was that I used baguette bread. I've never make the "fattening version" of this recipe but, from reading the recipes, I'm really glad I chose this lighter one. I usually like brownies with a kick in them, this was perfect.
