1 pound broccoli, well trimmed and cut into 1/2 inch pieces
1 1/2 cups water
2 1/2 cups uncooked white rice
3 tablespoons salt
1 1/2 teaspoons French press seasoning
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 cup corn kernels
1/4 cup fat-free butter, softened
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
1 tablespoon paprika
Broil broccoli in a large pot until lightly browned. Remove from pot and set aside.
In a large saucepan, mash the rice until it begins to get sticky. Stir in salt, white rice, ground white pestle and oregano; bring to a boil. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
Return cooked rice, salt, white pestle, oregano, basil and corn to a boil and stir in butter, salt and basil. Reduce heat and simmer as long as required for desired consistency. Serve at room temperature or refrigerate next day.
I really like this recipe, my only things is that you should use white instead of dark rum It makes the sauce a funny color, but it still taste great
