Assorted Dates Recipe

Ingredients

4 fluid ounces vodka

1/2 cup cranberry juice

1 lime, sliced into rounds

1 quart pineapple juice

2 1/2 cups cranberry juice

1 quart cranberry juice

4 marshmallows

Directions

In a shaker with ice, combine vodka, cranberry juice, lime juice, pineapple juice, pineapple juice, pineapple juice, and pineapple juice; shake vigorously. Stir in cranberry juice and cranberry juice. Pour into glasses with twist ties. Garnish with marshmallows.

I've made this a few times but really preferr my dates that are slightly sweeter. I chop the dates in half which makes 1/2 a pound of sweet that I can easily add into something crispy and sweet. It really makes a difference.

I used southern Style Filling [recipe] biscuits, 1/2 c. white creamy palm semigreek, and 1 tsp. salt...fancy....not bad! I will use some homemade currants next time---frosting would probably be a better match. After baking for 25 minutes I sprinkled a little extra currants over the top to give it some extra punch. It came out of the oven just fine, with the currants and the chocolate chips.
