2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 tablespoon baking soda
2 teaspoons white sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1 tablespoon butter, melted
1 cup chopped pecans
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
In a mixing bowl, cream together 2 cups flour and baking powder. Beat in the sugar, baking soda, sugar and vanilla. Combine milk, 1 cup butter, pecans and salt. Stir well. Roll or punch dough into small balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until edges of the cookie are golden. Allow cookies to cool completely on the baking sheet before removing to cool completely on wire racks.
