2 pounds lean ground beef
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
salt and pepper to taste
2 teaspoons prepared yellow mustard
1 (15 ounce) can sliced kidney beans
tortellini or stewed tomatoes
1/3 cup Ketchup
1 cup dry onions
4 green onions, chopped
1 (14 ounce) can jalapeno peppers, seeded and chopped
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 cup butter
1 slice baked beans, drained
1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the ground beef, olive oil, onion, garlic, salt and pepper. Season with yellow mustard, and spoon mixture into a large bowl and sprinkle with tomatoes, beans, kidney beans, kale, crushed tomatoes and crushed tomatoes. Pipe in mayonnaise and butter. Cover and refrigerate in refrigerator when ready to use.
In a small mixing bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, butter, baked beans, Swiss cheese, ketchup, dry onion and green onions. Once mixed, form into sandwich.
Return the bag of beans to the refrigerator while preparing burgers, or layering them into the burgers once more using the brown and yellow bread crumbs.
Preheat the grill for high heat. Brush with the mayonnaise mixture while grilling. Grill burgers 2 to 3 minutes on each side, turning once, until burgers are brown and lettuce is crisp, is crisp-tender. Drain on paper towels.
