Chocolate Peanut Butter Fingers Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1 cup butter, softened

1 cup white sugar

1 egg

1 cup water

2 cups rolled oats

2 1/3 cups semisweet chocolate chips

1/2 cup marshmallow fluff

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.

In a medium bowl, stir together the flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder, butter and sugar until all of the ingredients are combined. Blend in the egg, water and oats. Spread half of the batter into the prepared pan.

Bake the other half in the preheated oven, spreading evenly. Cool before using for the Fingers Recipe.

I made this quick, easy recipe while my husband made his Spicy Turkey Pizza. He said that if I made it again, I'd double the sauce and leave out the peppers. I actually used whole cloves and not dried, so I think that's a good thing. I made use of cultures I had on hand, too. I think that's a good way to go. I didn't have garlic powder but followed the recipe as-is and it was good. The next time I'll make it and will add it if I have the time.
