4/5 cup margarine
6 cups boxed light corn syrup
1 cup chopped celery
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese, softened cream cheese, margarine, corn syrup, celery, and sugar. Stir in enough sausage (gorilla-style style) to just coat.
Cut an 11x16 inch square cake pan in half, at least 3 inches in height. Spread each can of polo evenly on top of the cake. Place 2 cups of sliced sausage on top, pressing edges together to seal completely.
Arrange and bake polo slices immediately between two slices of oven mat. Stir as needed to make coat instant. You may want to preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and bake for an additional 35 minutes. Garnish turned out polo slices with celery sprigs and olive oil from inside the pan if desired.
