2 cups packed light brown sugar
1 1/2 cups packed light brown sugar
2 teaspoons butter
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a large bowl, mix together brown sugar and light brown sugar, mixing well. In a separate bowl, mix together butter or margarine, eggs, vanilla and salt. Stir pecans into brown sugar mixture.
Beat the butter mixture into the pecans. Spread evenly into pie crust.
Bake in preheated oven for 35 minutes, or until filling is set and crust is golden brown. Cool, then chill before serving.
