4 cups white sugar
2 cups brown sugar
3 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1/4 cup vegetable oil
3 1/4 cups milk
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 1/2 teaspoons grated orange zest
1 1/2 teaspoons orange zest
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1 (18.25 ounce) package cherry pie filling
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan. Sift together the flour and baking powder. Set aside.
In a large bowl, egg yolks, one teaspoon vanilla extract, and 1/2 teaspoon salt combine 1/4 cup oil, milk, and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Gradually stir in 1/4 cup sugar, continuing to beat until a soft but not dry paste is obtained. Spread batter into prepared pan.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a wooden toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow to cool before serving. Chill in refrigerator for 3 hours, or overnight.
