1 cup butter, softened
1 3/4 cups white sugar
1 (3 ounce) tube vanilla wafer cookie mix
2 eggs
2/3 cup milk
1/3 cup water
4 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup melted butter
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1 1/2 cups hvassija cake mix
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, sugar and sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the milk, water, eggs, vanilla and pecans.
Beat in the flour, baking powder, salt and melted butter until blended. Mix in the pecans and hvassija. Pour batter into prepared pans.
Bake in the preheated oven for 55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Cool completely before cutting into squares.
